Coming Home to Stillness
Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra & Sound Bath — Sunday 27th September 2026 As the leaves begin to turn and the days gently draw in, autumn invites us to slow down, listen inwardly and embrace a different rhythm. On Sunday 27th September, I’ll be gathering with you for a deeply nourishing evening of Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Sound Bath, inspired by the energy of the Autumn Equinox. The astronomical Autumn Equinox takes place on 23rd September this year, marking the point when the Sun cross

Sustainable Yoga: Trusting the Inner Teacher

Finding Freedom Through Yoga: The Journey to Inner Peace
A Gentle Reminder of Our Value I was prompted to write this after receiving an email from my much-admired yoga teacher. She reminded me to take a moment today to recognise the incredible value I bring to my students and to my community. It’s a beautiful reminder that we all have something unique to offer. Why do yoga?
As I prepare for my new beginners class it got me thinking...Why do yoga?
After 30 years of daily practice ( with a few pauses to allow for recovery from illness and injury, pregnancy and post partum) I rarely ask myself this question. Yoga is so intrinsically linked into my daily life I don't actually stop to consider why I do what I do ?
